Kyrgyzstan has a connection with three international hubs, while neighboring Kazakhstan with eleven. Managing Director of the Central Asian Free Market Institute (CAFMI) Mirsulzhan Namazaliev said today at a round table in Bishkek “Multimodal air logistics centers of the KR. Potential and Prospects”.
“In order to connect with the developed world, we have to fly to another country, thereby increasing the financial cost and time of flight,” said Namazaliev.
According to him, not only limited choice and frequency of flights, but the price of air travel is high in Kyrgyzstan. “Many flights from Bishkek is more expensive than from Almaty”, said the CAFMI Managing Director.
